Before You Book a Non Disney Hotel

The Disney name is a worldwide symbol for family fun and excitement. It’s only natural that many parents want to be as close as possible to the magic of Disney when they travel. Many families assume that staying at an off-site Disney World hotel is the cheapest option for their vacation.

However, this is not always the case. You can typically secure a reservation at one of Disney’s value or moderate resorts for a similar price to an off site hotel. If the budget-friendly value and moderate resorts do not include the extra amenities you are looking for, I recommend renting Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points.

The best off-site Disney World hotels are those that provide spacious accommodations, elaborate outdoor pools, and shuttles to the Walt Disney World parks. Hotels Walking Distance to Disney Parks

Did you know that there are lots of non Disney hotels just outside Walt Disney World? If you’re looking for hotels within walking distance to Disney World, this list is for you! You may already realize that some of the deluxe Disney resorts and villas offer walking paths to certain Disney theme parks. The Disney brand hotels that are within walking distance to Magic Kingdom Park include:

Disney Springs, formerly known as Downtown Disney, is a large complex on Disney property that hosts many retail establishments and restaurants. Off-site Hotels near Disney World

If you’re willing to branch out to hotels that are not within walking distance of Disney World, you should definitely check out the Bonnet Creek area. These hotels are within 5 to 10 miles of Disney World, which is in really close proximity to the parks. You can make the short drive from the Bonnet Creek area to the Disney parks, or you can use the resorts’ shuttle service.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World also features numerous dining options, including a DELICIOUS character breakfast on select mornings. You can book a hotel room or a suite- some even come with a view of Magic Kingdom Park! I’m going to give you a heads up that you may be in for a shock when you see the price of this hotel. But, if you’re looking to splurge, the Four Seasons Resort would be at the top of my list!

Final Thoughts on Best non Disney Hotels near Disney World

As mentioned above, we find the best deals to typically be with the Disney brand hotels. Since many of the off-site hotels require you to pay a parking fee plus a resort fee, the overall total can easily surpass that of a Disney brand hotel, which do not have these fees.
