If you are visiting Mom’s Plan-it Vacation Blog to gain information on family travel, you will find all kinds of insight on kid-friendly vacation spots! We cover our favorite travel destinations, including accommodations, dining options, and activities in each location.

My family and I absolutely love traveling together, especially on Disney vacations. We visit Walt Disney World multiple times per year and enjoy trying out different hotels, restaurants, and theme parks each time we are in Orlando.

Speaking of Disney, we especially love the magical vacations that Disney Cruise Line provides. If you haven’t tried cruising with Disney, we highly recommend it!

We have even gotten our extended family into the cruising lifestyle by sailing with Royal Caribbean. Their mega-ships provide an awesome home base for multi-generational vacations!

On Mom’s Plan-it Vacation Blog, I have also started featuring my family’s journey through homeschooling as it provides the flexibility we need to allow us to travel frequently. Since I have a master’s degree in education and over ten years of elementary teaching experience, homeschooling wasn’t a huge leap for me. However, teaching your own kids is definitely an adjustment!

Finally, you may notice that Mom’s Plan-it Vacation Blog features numerous posts on breast cancer and chemo treatment. A few months after having my second baby, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 36. During the first two years after my diagnosis, I went through a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy (including complete hair loss), radiation therapy, and reconstruction surgery. This experience obviously had a big impact on my family and me.

Sharing my journey on this website seemed like a great way to help other breast cancer survivors realize that they aren’t alone in their fight. The outpouring of love and support from readers has meant so much to me! Those of you who take the time to comment with your own stories and advice are helping so many other readers around the world.

I am so grateful for all of you. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you find the tips, reviews, and insight you were searching for!
