DreamMore Resort Rooms

Visitors travel from all over the world to experience Dolly Parton’s famous Dollywood Theme Park. But many families may not realize that Dollywood has its very own hotel located near the park. Perched on top of a hill about five minutes from the Dollywood theme park, DreamMore Resort is a beautifully designed hotel providing high-end accommodations.

In addition to DreamMore Resort and Spa, Dollywood also offers the Heartsong Lodge and Resort. This four-story Smoky Mountain lodge holds 302 rooms and suites when it opens in the near future.

When booking a room at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort, you’ll notice two different room categories: standard rooms and suites. Below, we will discuss the differences between the standard rooms at DreamMore and the suites, which feature more spacious room.

Standard Rooms

Don’t let the name fool you. There’s nothing basic about the standard rooms at Dollywood’s hotel. Hotel guests staying in a standard room still receive luxurious bedding and top-notch amenities.

My family and I find the Dollywood DreamMore Resort rooms to be tastefully decorated with an apparent focus on cleanliness.

If you book a room in the standard category at the DreamMore Resort, you can choose from several different layout options. The variety of room types include:

  • King Rooms- sleeps up to 2
  • King with Bunk Beds- sleeps up to 4
  • Patio Poolside- king room with bunk beds and private outdoor patio
  • Double Queen Room- sleeps up to 4
  • King with Sleeper Sofa- sleeps up to 4

The DreamMore official website offers 3D tours of each of the standard rooms, so you know exactly what to expect when booking your room reservation.

Suites

In addition to the standard rooms discussed above, DreamMore Resort provides suites for those families and guests looking for additional space. Like the rooms in the standard category, the DreamMore suites feature updated decor and well-maintained finishings.

When staying at the Dollywood hotel, your options for suites include:

  • Family Suite- king bed with separate room for bunk beds
  • Patio Poolside Suite- same as above with the addition of an outdoor patio
  • Junior Suite- sleeps 6 with king bed, bunk beds, sleeper sofa
  • Reunion Suite- king bed with separate living area featuring sleeper sofa
  • Dolly Parton Suite- sleeps 2 guests; penthouse apartment

The video below is from my family’s stay in a Family Suite at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort. We loved having two separate sleeping areas and additional space during our visit.

Families especially know how important it is to have separate sleeping spaces when traveling. As an added bonus, many of the guest rooms at DreamMore offer spectacular views of the mountainous landscape.

Room Amenities

The rooms at DreamMore Resort offer amenities that are pretty typical for hotels in this class. Some of the amenities you will find in your resort’s room include:

  • free wifi
  • flat-screen TV
  • coffee maker
  • in-room safe
  • iron
  • ironing board
  • hair dryers

Additionally, the guest rooms at DreamMore Resort also feature a mini refrigerator, which really comes in handy for snacks and beverages. The hotel has a small market available onsite called DM Pantry that’s located near the lobby and front desk. This is a great place to pick up grab-and-go items (as well as other menu items) that fit perfectly inside the hotel room refrigerators.

Prices

The price of a room at DreamMore Resort really depends on the time of year you plan to visit. Holidays, weekends, and school break times tend to be the priciest. If you are looking to book a room during the high season, you will typically find prices around $350 per night. Whereas if you book a visit during low season, you can plan to pay around $200.

This package typically includes two tickets, but you can add more during the booking process. In addition, you may want to consider purchasing a season pass for at least one member of your group. The trolley picks up guests in a designated spot near the front parking lot. I did not see a trolley schedule posted, but the shuttles seemed to run every 15-20 minutes.

Final Review of Dollywood DreamMore Resort Rooms

When you stay in a room or a suite at DreamMore Resort and Spa, you can rest comfortably knowing the accommodations will be clean and spacious. The tasteful and updated decor at DreamMore reminds me a lot of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The on-site restaurants, activities, and perks make DreamMore Resort and Spa totally worth the price on your Tennessee family vacation.
