Plus, it’s located just steps away from the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Pearl Rosemary Beach Guest Rooms
The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach features all sorts of rooms for guests. Visitors can book rooms that include either a king, a queen, or two queen beds.
Many of the rooms also offer private balconies with views of the Gulf of Mexico, town, or pool. The Pearl also has several suite options to choose from, including the Rotunda Suite (no balcony) and The Pearl Suite.
My family and I booked our room at The Pearl on a last minute whim, so we didn’t have a ton of options to choose from. We decided on the Gulf View Guest Room with a king bed.
It’s important to note that the room also included a sleeper sofa; although, it wasn’t the most comfortable pull out bed. Still, the kids didn’t mind sleeping on it.
We really loved the updated decor in the room as well as the flooring (no carpet). The balcony featured two chairs with a table, and it overlooked the green space in front of the hotel.
The Pearl often hosts weddings on Saturdays during peak season, and a tent had been set up in the lawn outside our balcony. Initially, we thought this was an eyesore that distracted from the ocean views.
However, the live band at the wedding reception was absolutely amazing! So, my husband and I really enjoyed sitting on our balcony later that night listening to the band.
Another thing to note about this outside space is that the balconies aren’t totally private as seen from the photo above. You can see into the balconies around you, and they are pretty close together. This wasn’t an issue at all for us but just something to be aware of.
The bathrooms include a large walk in shower with rainfall showerheads and a separate toilet room.
The Pearl Restaurants
The Pearl offers a main restaurant, Havana Beach Bar & Grill, which is really popular for hotel guests and for people not staying at the hotel. I would highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to eat here during brunch or dinner hours as it is often busy.
We dined outdoors on the patio for dinner and inside for breakfast. The food is really great, and it’s a super convenient option for those staying at the hotel.
Guests can also order from Havana’s for in-room dining. Additionally, you’ll find Havana’s rooftop bar outside near the pool, but it was closed for a private event during our stay.
Hotel Amenities
The Pearl provides some really nice modern amenities for guests staying at the resort. Some of the convenient perks you’ll find while staying here include:

- Tennis courts (located at WaterSound Beach Club)
- Fitness Center (located at WaterSound Origins)

If you are traveling with kids, you won’t be able to access the hotel’s pool as it’s for adults only. However, you can walk to a Rosemary Beach neighborhood pool that allows families.
Additionally, guests at The Pearl receive access to the Watersound Beach Club, which is just a short drive away. This exclusive beach club offers beach access, two restaurants, and resort style pools. It’s definitely worth a visit if you have kids.
If you prefer to stay close to The Pearl and are visiting with children, you can enjoy the beach, which sits just steps away from the hotel. Two beach chairs and an umbrella are complimentary for guests. You’ll also find towels and sunscreen at the beach that are free to use as well.
A final amenity I want to mention is the complimentary snacks and beverages in the rooms. In addition to the complimentary sparkling wine available at check in, the room’s small refrigerator contained various drinks that were free for us to consume.
We also received delicious pimento cheese and crackers during the afternoon, which were a welcomed surprise. Finally, my kids especially enjoyed the cookies that were delivered as part of the nightly turndown service.

Who owns The Pearl?

As mentioned above, guests at The Pearl Hotel receive access to WaterSound Beach Club. Visitors can also rent kayaks at the sister hotel, the WaterColor Inn.
Is The Pearl kid friendly?
My husband and I visited The Pearl Hotel with our two young daughters and found it to be kid friendly. If you’re looking for a hotel with a family friendly pool, The Pearl may initially seem like it’s not the right choice since its pool is for adults only.
However, families with kids can use the Rosemary Beach family swimming pool. Or, you can drive to WaterSound Beach Club, which offers AMAZING family friendly amenities and great service as well.

Overall, we really enjoyed our time spent at The Pearl Hotel. If you’re traveling with adults, I would highly recommend this boutique resort as it offers gorgeous rooms, convenient amenities, and easy beach access. The town of Rosemary Beach is really ideal for couples or girls’ trips since there are so many restaurants, bars, and shops just steps away from The Pearl.
If you’re visiting the area with kids, The Pearl is still a really great option. The Rosemary Beach family pools are just a short walk away from the hotel or beach. And the added option to utilize the WaterSound Beach Club gives you even more areas to spend time. While it’s true that you would need to drive to WaterSound, the Beach Club there makes it totally worth the short car ride!
