Walt Disney world is full of magical experiences and that includes a large list of character meet and greets. Whether you’re searching for your favorite characters at the Disney theme parks or you’re interested in dining with Disney World characters, the list below lets you know exactly where to see and meet characters.

The Walt Disney World Resort area is full of amazing Disney character meet and greet opportunities. From character cavalcades and parades to traditional meet and greets, the Disney parks and resorts all have plenty to offer. So, continue reading below for our full list of all Disney characters at Disney World. List of Characters at Disney World

The most common place you’ll find characters at Disney World is at the four main Disney theme parks. While you can often meet certain characters (like the Fab 5) at every single park, some Disney characters are only available at specific theme parks. Below, we will break down the list of the characters you can expect to see or meet at each of the Walt Disney World parks.

Characters in Magic Kingdom

Visitors to the Walt Disney World Resort can expect to find lots of available Disney characters at Disney World Magic Kingdom. In addition to Cinderella Castle, Main Street, and all the themed lands, Magic Kingdom offers plenty of opportunities to meet characters from the Fab 5 to Disney princesses to Pixar favorites and more.

Cinderella Castle at Disney World

This park is a favorite for families visiting Disney World with toddlers as it features lots of attractions appropriate for young kids plus special Disney character meet and greets. If you’re looking for traditional, face to face Disney character meet and greet opportunities, these are the current available options at Disney’s Magic Kingdom:

  • Belle – Guests can meet Belle from Beauty and Beast at the popular attraction, Enchanted Tales with Belle. During this experience, visitors can volunteer to participate in part of the show. At the end of the performance, these guests have an opportunity to meet Belle.
  • Cinderella – Cinderella is available for a meet and greet at Princess Fairytale Hall, which is located at the back of the castle. 
  • Elena – Guests can find Elena from Elena of Avalor at the Cinderella character experience as well. 
  • Peter Pan – Peter Pan is typically available for meet and greets in Fantasyland near the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction.
  • Chip and Dale – Guests can meet Chip and Dale in Fantasyland near Pete’s Silly Sideshow at various times throughout the day.
  • Ariel – Everyone’s favorite mermaid, Ariel, is available to meet guests at her grotto in Fantasyland. This is located right beside the attraction: Under the Sea- Journey of the The Little Mermaid.
  • Princess Tiana – Princess Tiana, from The Princess and The Frog, is available at Princess Fairytale Hall. 
  • Rapunzel – Rapunzel is also known to accompany Princess Tiana at her meet and greet at Princess Fairytale Hall. 
  • Donald Duck – Guests will find Donald Duck at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Fantasyland near the Dumbo attraction.
  • Goofy – Goofy is also available to meet under the circus tent at Pete’s Silly Sideshow. (Goofy and Donald share a line here.)
  • Merida – Visitors to Disney’s Magic Kingdom will find Merida (from Brave) located at Fairytale Garden. This is located between the castle and Tomorrowland.
  • Mickey Mouse – Mickey Mouse is available for a character experience at Town Square Theater, which is located just inside the entrance to Magic Kingdom.
  • Winnie the Pooh – Winnie the Pooh is available to meet at The Thotful Spot in Fantasyland near the attraction, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
  • Tigger – Guests can meet Tigger with Winnie the Pooh at The Thotful Spot.
  • Snow White – Snow White is typically available in Town Square near the entrance to Magic Kingdom.
  • Minnie Mouse – Like Donald Duck and Goofy, Minnie Mouse is available to meet at Pete’s Silly Sideshow near the Dumbo attraction.
  • Daisy Duck – Guests can meet Daisy Duck, who uses the same line as Minnie Mouse, at Pete’s Silly Sideshow.
  • Anastasia and Drizella – Cinderella’s evil stepsisters are available for meet and greets at the back of Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland.
  • Aladdin – Guests at Magic Kingdom will find Aladdin available for character meet and greets near the attraction, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
  • Princess Jasmine – Jasmine is also available to meet near The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland. 
  • Buzz Lightyear – Guests can enjoy a sighting of Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland on the Plaza Stage.
  • Stitch – Stitch, from Disney’s Lilo and Stitch, is also available in Tomorrowland at the Plaza Stage.
  • Mirabel – Mirabel, from the movie Encanto, is available to meet in Fairytale Garden near the entrance to Tomorrowland.
  • Jack Sparrow – Captain Jack Sparrow, from Pirates of the Caribbean, meets at the Adventureland Stage.

Additionally, guests visiting Magic Kingdom Theme Park can see multiple characters at once during the following entertainment offerings:

  • Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire – Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is a live performance that takes place multiple times per day on the Cinderella Castle stage. Some of the characters you’ll see at this show include Rapunzel, Flynn, Tiana, Olaf, Anna, Elsa, and of course Mickey Mouse!
  • Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade – This character filled parade features Disney favorites like Rapunzel, Ariel, Peter Pan, and more. You can check the My Disney Experience App for the daily parade times.
  • Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade – Guests can line the parade route to see favorite Disney characters from Encanto, Moana, and Coco.
  • Crystal Palace – Crystal Palace offers character meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with Winnie the Pooh and friends.
  • Be Our Guest – Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner with The Beast from Beauty and The Beast.
  • Cinderella’s Royal Table – Cinderella is available at this character dining experience during lunch and dinner.

Characters at Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to several Disney character meet and greets, including character experiences with Disney Junior friends and Star Wars favorites. This is a list of the Disney characters you’ll find at Hollywood Studios:

  • Mickey Mouse – Guests can meet Mickey Mouse at Red Carpet Dreams in Commissary Lane.
  • Minnie Mouse – Similar to Mickey, Minnie Mouse meets at Red Carpet Dreams.
  • Olaf – Olaf is available for a meet and greet experience in Echo Lake.
  • Goofy – Guests can meet Goofy at Grand Avenue.
  • Max – Max is available to meet next to Goofy at Grand Avenue.
  • Sulley – Sulley, the lovable monster from Monsters Inc, hosts a meet and greet in Animation Courtyard.
  • Chewbacca – Guests can find Chewbacca in Galaxy’s Edge for daily meet and greets.
  • Rey – Rey can often be seen by Millennium Falcon near Chewbacca.
  • Darth Vader – Dart Vader offers a character experience at Star Wars Launch Bay. Additionally, guests can often see other Star Wars characters walking around in Galaxy’s Edge.
  • BB-8 – Like Darth Vader, BB-8 hosts a meet and greet inside Star Wars Launch Bay.
  • Grogu – Grogu can be seen in Galaxy’s Edge.
  • The Mandalorian – The Mandalorian can also be seen in Galaxy’s Edge.
  • Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers – Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers can often be found on the stage in Galaxy’s Edge.
  • Vi Moradi – Vi Moradi can be seen in Galaxy’s Edge
  • Vampirina – Animation Courtyard hosts several Disney character meet and greets, including Vampirina.
  • Doc McStuffins – Doc McStuffins also meets guests at Animation Courtyard.
  • Fancy Nancy – Fancy Nancy, another Disney Jr. favorite offers a character experience at Animation Courtyard as well.
  • Pluto – Pluto greets guests at Animation Courtyard near the Disney Jr. characters.
  • Woody – Guests can meet Woody from Toy Story in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
  • Jessie – The lovable cowgirl Jessie also greets fans in Toy Story Land.
  • Buzz Lightyear – Buzz Lightyear is available to meet in Toy Story Land as well.
  • Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – Donald and Daisy sometimes meet guests at Hollywood Brown Derby.
  • Chip and Dale – Chip and Dale are also available to meet as a pair at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
  • Mr. and Mrs. Incredible – Guests can meet the Incredibles at Echo Lake.
  • Ariel – Ariel meets guests at Walt Disney Presents near Pixar Plaza.

  • Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage – Guests can watch this live show that features all your favorite characters from Beauty and the Beast as they perform on stage at Sunset Boulevard.
  • For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration – Visitors can sing along with Anna, Kristoff, and Elsa to their favorite songs from Frozen in this live show.
  • Green Army Drum Corps – At various times throughout the day, the Green Army Men perform in Toy Story Land.
  • Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular – Guests can see Indiana Jones in action in this entertaining live stunt show.
  • Disney Junior Play and Dance! – Disney Junior Play and Dance is a live performance show that features Mickey, Doc McStuffins, Timon, and Vampirina.
  • Fantasmic – This unique nighttime show features fireworks and appearances by characters from films like Moana, Frozen, The Lion King, and Aladdin just to name a few. 
  • Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine – Guests can dine with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto during lunch and dinner.
  • Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine Character Breakfast at Hollywood and Vine – Enjoy breakfast with Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins, and Roadster Goofy. 

In addition to the multiple character experiences listed above, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also home to some of the best roller coasters on Disney property.

Animal Kingdom Characters

Disney’s Animal Kingdom doesn’t only feature live animals, guests can meet their favorite Disney characters here too! The Disney characters you will find at Animal Kingdom include:

  • Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse – Guests can meet Mickey and Minnie together at Adventurers Outpost.
  • Donald, Daisy, and Chip n Dale – These characters are available for meets in DinoLand.
  • Moana – Moana meets near Dinoland.

Some additional places to find characters at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are listed below.

  • Donald’s Dino-Bash! – Guests can see Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Chip and Dale at this live performance in DinoLand.
  • Tusker House – Guests can typically find Donald, Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy at Tusker House for character meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Mickey and Friends Flotilla – This character cavalcade takes place on Discovery River and features Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto.
  • Discovery River Character Cruise – Also on Discovery River, guests may see Pocahontas, Meeko, Timon, and Rafiki in this character cruise.
  • Disney Ducks Flotilla – Guests can see Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack on Discovery River.
  • UP Flotilla – Russell and Dug can be found on this flotilla at Discovery River.

Characters at EPCOT

Epcot features several opportunities to meet your favorite characters, many of whom are face characters. You’ll notice a lot of the Epcot characters are located in the World Showcase. The list below includes places to find characters at Epcot:

  • Alice – Guests can meet Alice in the United Kingdom at the World Showcase.
  • Mary Poppins – Mary Poppins also greets guests in the United Kingdom.
  • Anna and Elsa – Anna and Elsa are available for meet and greets near Norway.
  • Winnie the Pooh – Guests can meet Winnie the Pooh at World Celebration.
  • Moana – Moana meets near the Journey of Water attraction.
  • Mickey Mouse – Mickey is available at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.
  • Minnie Mouse – Minnie typically greets guests in the gazebo at the World Showcase.
  • Aurora – Aurora greets guests outside of the France pavilion.
  • Belle – Visitors will find Belle in France.
  • Princess Jasmine – Jasmine is available to meet in Morocco.
  • Snow White – Guests will find Snow White in Germany at the World Showcase.
  • Donald Duck – Donald is available for meets in Mexico.
  • Mulan – Guests will find Mulan in China at the World Showcase.
  • Joy – Joy is available to meet in ImageWorks.
  • Vanellope – Vanellope also meets guests at ImageWorks.
  • Pluto – Guests will find Pluto near the entrance to EPCOT.
  • Goofy – Goofy is available to meet visitors near the entrance to Epcot as well.

If you’re looking for character dining experiences at Epcot, the following character meals are available:

  • Akershus – Located inside the Norway pavilion, Akershus offers character dining at dinner with Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, and Belle.
  • Garden Grill – Garden Grill offers meet and greet opportunities with Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale for lunch and dinner.
